What are some of the top brands for modern furniture? Part 1

With the increasing trend of urban gentrification, more and more consumers are looking for smaller more contemporary or modern furniture pieces for their homes such as Gus Modern and Mobital. I can draw from my personal experience of recently having moved from the suburbs of Inland Empire to a condominium in Long Beach that I needed to condense the size of my home furnishings to fit into a much smaller space, yet at the same time I still wanted to have an attractive appeal to my home.

As a result I went shopping in some of the local Long Beach furniture showrooms and found a variety of cool pieces by several manufacturers that I really liked, a few of which are listed below:

Gus Modern Furniture - This is a very cool company that manufactures a variety of living room and bedroom furniture. I really like the clean look of a few of their sectional sofas and the fabrics are very nice and seem like the will stand the test of time. I was also impressed to learn that they are doing their best to help the environment. They manufacture all of their upholstered seating with 100% FSC-Certified wood products.  FSC-Certification ensures that wood comes from well-managed forests which employ methods of responsible harvesting and meet strict environmental standards.

Zuo Modern Furniture - This is another company from which I really loved the products and the modern look and feel. Zuo Modern blends periods of fashion, culture, and furniture into an eclectic yet thoroughly modern collection of lifestyle pieces ranging from seating, to tables, to bar furniture and office furniture. One nice thing about the store where I saw the Zuo Modern (Metropolitan Design) was that they will deliver any product by Zuo Modern anywhere in the United States for free.

Mobital - A third manufacturer in my furniture excursion was Mobital. While the stores I visited did not carry a huge stock of their products I absolutely fell in love with a couple of their beds. The Mobital Dancka Bed for example was very simple and exotic at the same time.
