Risk to Liver Function
Generic Bezalip (Bezafibrate) may impede the functioning of liver, ascertained by liver function tests inside 6 months of commencing treatment and then every year. It is believed that Generic Bezalip is broken down by the metabolic process of the liver; therefore it is not advised with liver disorder excluding fatty liver (commonly marked with elevated cholesterol).
